Sisters Sharee and Kylie came to us with a small brick and concrete shell with full street frontage had tight budget constraints, design and project delivery within 6 weeks and aimed to grab the attention from pedestrian and local traffic.
The clients wanted to move away from their previous busy colour scheme and add hock design and to include as many hairstations as possible, 2 wash basins, a front desk with retail, staff facilities and waiting area. A monochrome pallet and clean layout was developed with grey timber look flooring and joinery. The large windows captured the natural light which was reflected along both sides of the salon to create the illusion of space with the hair products adding pops of colour to attract the client’s attention.
The project included design and estimation and project management which enabled transparency of costs and the salon success in project programme, budget and usability. Included in the design was a new logo and awning signage and appointment cards the graphic design team.
